I don't know if this has been answered or not, but will weapons be allowed to have multiple attachments(ex: suppressor, scope and grip).

As it is possible in reality, I supposed it will be also doable in alliance. However, I hope that there will be some sort of balance factor so that uber guns aren't invincible. eg lower visibility of your surroundings

Remember, no balancing will take place at the game logic level. The balancing will occur on the server. So, for example, you could limit max attachments to two, or, say limit attachments to nothing made past 1993.

That's how it's done in Alliance. We never, ever nerf the real thing or change its physical behavior.

Well I meant something like maybe making the weapon slower to raise when it is brimming with attachments. :)

Having an EOTECH red dot, and suppressor wouldn't really affect how fast you could bring the weapon up to aim. Considering you're supposed to be a soldier of some sort you're will already have the weapon at the "ready" position so bringing it up to fire doesn't require a whole lot of effort.

Some of it would slightly self balance. Again, since we're handling all weapons and attachments physically, a suppressor for example would change the gun's weight, center of mass, length, bore location, muzzle velocity, sound, etc.

How the weapon and the bullet behave is then physically modeled. A suppressor isn't too heavy, so the effect might be slight, but it would slightly change most of the weapons behavior (as would happen in real life).
