With the movies and games, I've become increasingly more intersting WW2. What part of WW2 will be fighting in Alliance? Liberating france? German invasiojn of Russia? War in the pacific?

I would assume the Russian front, since most of the rest of the game seems to deal with Communism.

I did read that there would be no D-Day missions. Which is a double edged sword, I love D-Day, I find it the most harrowing and heroic moment in the history of WWII, but anymore every WWII game has a D-Day mission, so its become a bit over done.

D day would make for a very inadaquetly short mission. I mean, it was just basically a beach rush.

Intense it would be, but also short.

Not if you factor in the fact that they had to secure the entire area  They didnt just rush the beach

Hmmm, storming the beaches of Normandy, sounds fun - doubt anyone else has done that before...

Seeing as how these Shadow ninja people will work with many different organizations, having a level where the player is helping the Germans defend the Atlantic Wall against the D-Day attack by the Allies would be cool...

I can only think of one game (well, mod really) that put the player in the shoes of a German soldier, so it would be pretty orignal I think.

You'll mostly be involved in the mad rush to capture/free European territory between the West and East as the war was winding down. You clearly will be interested in making sure the iron curtain falls as far east as possible.

Not necessarily, just denotes that you'll be fighting near the end of the war and in what global context.

in an interview with Asi Lang, I heard him mention something about Berlin and the lighting effects, so hopefully there will be a "Rush for Berlin".

The winter war between ussr ans finland would be interesting (and the suomi m31 is confirmed in the game.)

I'd love to see early-war forgotten battles too, maybe the spanish war in 1936 (weapons from all europe have been used :) .)
