I imagine someone will eventually make a zombie mod, but there isn't one planned at the moment (at least to my knowledge).

There's always a place in the NZG! You can be my assistant Armoury Keeper. You may suggest firearms/weapons you deem useful in the combat of zombies, and I'll either approve or veto them. Go ahead and look through this thread for good ideas. Also, try and get a copy of "The Zombie Survival Guide" By Max Brooks. It is our Bible. Read it and know it.

That can't be stressed enough. At the NZG we have a firm no zombie or soon-to-be-zombie policy.

How would a semi auto AKS-74u do against the zombies? If needed it could mount a PBS suppressor so it's sound would not lure zombies from far away and still stay rather short. Hopefully your armory has a lot of 5.45 and subsonic 5.45 ammunition.

Fill out the Official Armory Inquiry form (ZI-341277) in triplicate and submit 2 copies to DerMann. You'll receive a notarized form ZI-341278 with the response in 3-10 business days (minus Federal holidays of course).

Should I mail it or fax it over?

AKS-74u Although a very sexy weapon..and realiable I would choose an ar-15 over it...just because of the round. And plus its not nearly as loud. And even with a silencer its still loud...(both guns)

Unfortunately, the 5.45x39mm round is about as effective as a .22. In it's place I will implement this:

Image

A Lee-Enfield converted to .45ACP. Low recoil. Accurate to 50 yards. Powerful up to about 75 yards. Looks bitchin'

Read the review of one of those conversions on surplusrifle.com. You can't load the rounds very fast or it jams up. Pairing up a Lee Enfield, designed for a long round, with a short, fat round is probably a bad idea.

Why do you hate key holing a round to the brain and a bolt action at close range to zombies might be a bad idea and why not a De Lisle carbine if you do choose one so you don't lure some more zombies?

Id grab me a carbine of sorts, in .223 or .30 carbine. Hell, even a lever avction in .44.

The M&P 15 made by Smith and Wesson comes to mind... I hear they are extremely reliable...

Or I could just take my good ole cannon in .375 H&H and shoot zombies from 500 yards away :D

That's why I completely redesigned it. Never said I used the commercial conversion kit. Just said it was converted. For all you know it could just be a De Lisle Carbine without the silencer. Never doubt the Master Keeper of the Armoury.

They're actually quite bad. Too loud and dependent on fuel, be it petrol or electricity.

They are also to heavy and alot of debri from the zombie will go everywhere...not a good idea.
