Bayonets = win.

It would be nice if you could select different bayonets for one weapon (like the Mauser rifle).

I have one of those :D its an awfully fun gun to shoot, and its very accurate at about 50 yards. The magazine only holds 8 rounds though :( limits the fun.

Id like to see a Mateba revolver in the game, I found out about it from the Ghost in the Shell tv series, Image
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mateba This one is chambered in .357 mag, though I think it can be chambered all the way up to .500 S&W.

As a die hard Metal Gear fan I have to throw my votes in for the HK Mk.23 and the Single Action Army.

I hope you are not forgetting the current standard assault rifle for the Bundeswehr (German Military) and the Ejercito de Tierra (Spanish Military). Also used in France, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain, UK, and USA. Used during both the Afghan War and the Second Gulf War (Iraq War):

THE HECKLER & KOCH GEWEHR 36 (HK G36)

Image
(G36E with double magazine shown in picture.)

Type: Assault Rifle
Manufacturer: Heckler & Koch (Germany)
Date of Design: 1990
Date of Production: 1995 to Present
Users: (Listed Above)
Variants: G36, G36E, G36K, G36KE, G36C, SL8, MG36

Caliber: 5.56 mm NATO
Ammunition 5.56 x 45 mm NATO
Feed System: 30-Round Box Magazine or 100-Round Drum Magazine
Action: Gas-Operated Rotating Bolt
Length: 998 mm (G36 with Open Butt-Stock)
Barrel Length: 480 mm (G36/G36E)
Weight: 3.6 kg (G36 with No Magazine)
Cyclic Rate: 750 round/min
Muzzle Velocity: 920 m/s
Effective Range: 200 to 800 m Sight Marks
Maximum Shooting Distance: 2860 m

The standard G36 rifle uses a short-stroke gas system making the rifle very reliable. HK has a G36K that has fired more than 25,000 rounds without cleaning, and no failures. The rifle can be fitted with an AG36 (under barrel grenade launcher) and a standard AK-74 bayonet. The rifle's stock can be folded and be fired just as efficiently. There are many trigger groups but the most common is the semi-automatic, 2-round burst, and fully automatic trigger group. The default transparent magazines can clip together easily with fitted studs on the sides. There is also a 100-round drum magazine that can be used, most commonly on the MG36 variant. The sites feature a unique dual sighting system. A small optic site with magnification of 3x is integrated into the carrying handle, and a reflex site on top.

The G36K (kurz, German for short) is the carbine version of the standard G36, works exactly the same but the barrel is shorter.

The G36C is the "commando" version, which is even shorter. It is used in law enforcement and not in military.

The 'E' variants (G36E/G36KE) are the export versions. The same as the standard variants, but the optic sight is instead 1.5x magnification and no reflex site.

The SL8 is the civilian version. Works the same as the G36 but it can only be fitted with 10-round magazines and can only be fired semi-automatically. The design is a lot different too.

Th MG36 is just a G36/G36E with a bi-pod and 100-round drum magazine making it useful as a light machine gun.

Id love to see an old Single Action Army aswell, I saw one at the local gun range and I fell in love.

Id also like to see a BFR (Biggest Finest Revolver) which is made by Magnum Resarch. There are lots of different calibers that it can come in, even the .45/70 Government cartridge. It would be a blast to be gunning down someone who has an assault rifle with an old Colt Single Action Army, or a massive revolver chambered in a cartridge that can take down the biggest of game.

This might be odd, but there are guns I do not want to see. Those are expiremental/cancelled projects. Such as the XM8, G11, and OICW.

i like finding the more rare guns that you never see in video games.

Image

High Point Carbine. (9mm & .40S&W) Very similar to Bertta's CX Storm line, but at about 1/8th the cost.

Guns I'd like to see in a video game:
Federov Avtomat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federov_Avtomat)
HK53 (essentially an assault rifle version of MP5)
SVT-40
PPS-43
Alex sniper rifle (seriously, that's what it's called)
Caracano M1891
MAB 1938
Franchi SPAS
Saiga-12
DP- 28
Type 100 SMG
Pancor Jackhammer (as an unlockable, maybe)

please dont call the SA80 an Enfield because it isnt. To be an Enfield it would have had to have been designed in the Royal Ordanance (RO) Facility at Lee Loch in the Enfield district of London. As Royal Ordanance was bought by BEA systems and the Lee loch facility sold. The SA80's design and manufacture was done in a BSA (a subsiduary of BEA systems) facility in Coventry.
