On the bolt action rifles will the bolt automatically work itself or will you have to say click the mouse button after every shot to work it?

Also will there be bayonets and melee attacks?

And will there be experimental weapons that were made but were never used? Like the HK G11? Or even futuristic weapons from movies and books like the Morita from Starship Troopers or one of the smart rifles from Aliens?

And will there be rails and scope mounts with things like lights and vertical foward grips to add to your weapon?

And while looking through a scope will it just see the scope like you have your eye against it or like a few inches back? I know some rifles are low enough recoil that you can have it fairly close but on most it would really hurt to have it next to your eye.

Will there be flip up sights and adjustable windage and range as well on the iron sites?

Sorry for all the questions I would just realy like to know!!!

Bolt action rifles will automatically work themselves after each shot.

Melee attacks are planned, but not yet in as we're still working on the details. Specifically they can't be useless, but they can't be unrealistically overpowered. A running buttsmack should not instantly kill your opponent.

Experimental weapons and weapons not yet in full manufacture will make a limited appearance. However, fake weapons will not.

Rails will play a role, but it's too early to say to what extent.

The scope will be onscreen much like the ironsights currently are. So no, your eye won't be flush against the scope.

There will not be adjustable windage on the sights, but range will be adjustable on both iron sights and optics as seen in the Gameplay trailer.
I explain why we're not including windage at the bottom of this thread:

If you hold the gun properly you will not be hit by recoil.

This is true. I can epmty a mag of 5.56 in about 15 seconds (30 rounds/10 seconds= 2 bullets a second on single) and make a grouping within an 18 inch circle at 100 meters. If you know how to take recoil, it doesn't really effect the shot.

However... thats standing still in shooting position. Moving would change recoil compensasion and sight sway. Speaking of sight sway, is there going to be more of that in the game?

There will be more weapon sway than what you saw in the Gameplay trailer, as it had just been added and hadn't yet been tweaked to the weapon's stats.

Recoil will also be more pronounced and will realistically differ between all the weapons in the WarStudio. It will be derived straight from the weapon and round's physical characteristics.

A good amunition question actually...

Will weapons such as the M16 varients be able to fire .223 and 5.56 rounds? or do you need more information on what I mean?

We haven't yet decided if we'll get into that level of granularity between different types of rounds.

Well, about the only difference is price and effectiveness... and sound.

Effectiveness difference is minimal.

Cost difference is rather large (but who cares in game unless we'll have an virtual bank account...)

And the sound is quite different, but again, who really cares - one bullet to the head will kill 'em anyway 8-) They wouldn't heat it coming.

Just that I noticed that you had just reached your 30th post and gotten automatically promoted. Actually, if anything, I'd say that you don't spend *enough* time... :)

I already feel like I am spamming the forums. I guess I am used to AR15.com or Americasarmy.com where there are hundreds of people on at a time.

The more active members of the community are, the happier we'll be. Don't worry, we'd personally and privately warn any members who were actually spamming or otherwise stepping too far out of line.
