I'm not sure what it is you asking.

Look at that MP7 video.

The stock isn't being used. It's extended and the gun still works. If it is useable one handed with the stock extended, then it is useable with no stock.

No stock would be better I suspect, but I have never tried.

Yeah, so the MP7 looks like a perfectly viable candidate for dual wielding.

I don't know about hr MP5 though.. :D

MP-5 definatly no for dual weilding. MP-7 semi auto in pistol mode maybe but it would really be hard on your non shooting hand.

Practice makes Perfect...?

in this case, only sometimes (depends)

any complete Marine or Soldier would have to adapt on the fly either way.. no matter what weapon(s) used. Even with that said, the adaptive skills would only be to a small degree due to not knowing every weapon on a repititious daliy use, etc. As for realism factors, Habbits is also key.. good or bad... some will get used to only using specific weapons and knowing how to use them properly (Dual) and Fall short when using Non-Familiar weapons on shooting side or non. I personally think that is up to the Coded Shooting Ballistics & Player Control/Aim factors ingame?, etc.

Look, I don't know why this has to be so complicated. The guy fired the MP7 in the video. Even on full auto, it barely produced any recoil.

Dual wielding this would be as easy as taking a crap.

Jesus tap dancing Christ, dual wielding does not soley depend on controlability.

Watch this video (from 0:36 to 0:42)

http://media.putfile.com/tommy-gun

I think he's controlling them pretty well, so that makes it feasible to dual wield, right? Well being able to conrol a weapon is one thing, being able to hit anything at a respectable range in a respectable amount of time is another. I mean sure, holding a compact, low recoil SMG with one hand and firing it is feasible, but so what? I'd rather have a 1911 or a Webley Mk.VI, who needs quantity when you have quality?

By the way, the guy with the Thompsons would hit a lot more stuff than the guy with the MP7(s).

http://youlose.ytmnd.com/

Dual wielding will not be included in Alliance, so why are you still blathering about your precious MP7?

Where's this video of the guy with the MP7? i couldn't find it in the thread.

anyhow all the vids i've seen here posted of people dualing leave me to believe that none of those guys hit anything they were aiming at. If they were even aiming. (maybe the guys with the tommies). I've tried shooting with a single handed grip in both hands (but not actually dualing.. that'd get you kicked off most ranges/clubs btw) anyhow single hand shooting had a very different feel. The muzzle rise that usually goes upwards, has a strong tendance to go up and to the outside. (if shooting in the right hand the muzzle kicks up and right), and it's about twice the amount of muzzle rise..... in the good hand.

In my opinon "going akimbo" might be something that you could do semi accurately doing very slow fire, but the real question is why would you want to? If you had 2 loaded pistols you'd be much better off just shooting normally, and then drop/swap to your other backup. You'd be able to shoot more accurately and with quicker follow ups. The only thing dualing might let you do is spend ammo faster and probably not hit anything to show for it. I guess if i were forced to shoot dual and i had to reload in a pinch... i'd just drop the offhand weapon to the ground and reload and use the good hand pistol normally. In most video games there's so many extra weapons laying about it'd probably be faster just to grab a new one if i really wanted to go dual again anyhow..

I'm guessin you guys have never seen real sharpshooters befor. Well there is even one guy who can fire 6 shots with a revover in less then a sec and hit the target with all of them. Same guy can dual 2 9mm pistol empty them in 2 secs and not miss a single shot.

No one without massive training could ever do these things but it is possible.

Shooting two guns at a object in front of you is easy once you get it down. But shooting at two objects in different locations is near impossible. Although I have seen it done before “A trick shooter taking his time to do it. in real life with people firing at you it will be like trying to rub your stomach and pat your head at the same time. Unless you got eyes like The End from Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater.
