Yeah some new media or info would be great. It would give us something to talk about because the forums have been a little on the the slow side lately.

While information, screenshots, videos, etc are all very good and nice, I don't think they really help out your patience, or anything.

For example, everybody surely knows when HL2 was first, first announced that VALVe showed a video of them gluing crap together with the Manipulator. That was awesome, and it's still pretty cool. Everybody was amazed and wanted HL2 right then. Of course, that didn't happen. Then the leak came a long, and you can bet your ass that just about every HL2 fan went out and got it, myself included.

Know why I did? Because of the trailers I saw. Typically, seeing some screens or movies makes you want something MORE. Are you people familiar with the phrase "Have not, Want not" ? Honestly, I'd sort of forgotten about Alliance for a month or two, and that makes waiting go faster when you aren't thinking about it.

Granted, I wouldn't mind seeing media, but asking the devs for it outright is unlikely to please anyone. They'll release new bits and pieces when they deem it necessary.

Then again, the boards are pretty dead....a new release might liven things up a tad.

Or they could be under contract with a publisher. Once that happens then all info comes from them. Since WMI hasn't officially stated if/who the publisher is then it may be awhile before we get any form of new information. If that publisher is or turns out to be UBI you can delete my account on these forums. For reasons why just check out any of their official forums for any PC game release lately: Silent Hunter 4, Rainbow Six: Vegas, etc. Not very if any happy customers over there.

Um... not to exagerate the matter any, but Ubi hate gamers.

I mean they personally hate each and every one of you.

If it wasn't making a grotesque nauseating mess of beloved PC franchises they'd probably be round your house stamping your pets to death and taking shits on your living room carpet.

I heard as well as games they also had a nice sideline in selling orphans to catfood factories.

True story.

Ubi hates you but they won't break your game every other patch.

It's amazing to me how bad the PC games are lately. Seems like about 80% are not done very well (not worth getting) and 10% die almost immediately, and 10% hang in there for a while. Then you have the hackers, exploiters and cheaters. Bad situation. Soon there won't be any PC games to even cheat in. lololol

I sure miss the early days of CS and DoD. Had a lot of fun back then.

Now just messing with CoD2. Getting tired of it too.

I also really loved playing Ghost Recon and RavenShield. Good days too!

Have you guys seen the Extreme Weapons shows on TV? Wow!

I agree with you, but now that DX10 is here, I think developers want to test that out :P oh mates, PC gaming is just beginning in next-generation
even Half-life 2 allready KICKED SOME SERIOUS ***
I myself is using (not all the time, but with friends) hacks in their servers in CoJ MP DEMO :) I have been in the normal servers, they dont kick guys that go inside walls, and usually i "tease" the guys that have done same to me :P tked me everytime. Usually I jump about 10 meters when it starts, go inside a house and well...tk him :P there are some serious a-holes in the game, so I give them a lesson, but I dont usually frag people, Im just an admin there lol. But sometime when I get bored...its 50 frags in 5 rounds. Please dont hate me for that ;( so many people does.
