Well said. :) I also wish there was more of a sense of weight when it comes to just other characters in general. I think some of this has to do with appearances. COD makes all the characters look like shiny paper mache and as a result, you don't really attribute any sense of weight to them. When you kill an enemy in the singleplayer, there is no physical reaction either. It's like someone just tipped over a cardboard cutout.

I remember reading how in killlzone 2, enemies will someones hang onto ledges if they fall of high places and I thought that was pretty neat. I wish things were more dynamic like that. :wink:

i think weapon handling is a big part of that. games that let you raise and lower a lmg, or a long battle rifle like it was made of pixie dust really destroy the feeling of that object being there.
