I'm in the Dallas area, and trying to prepare a ballistics test on a new material. I don't think .50 BMG is going to be big enough. I need someone local, if possible, with either 14.5mm or 20mm (both would be best) that would be interested in participating. Does anyone know someone?

Many thanks,
Skippy

New material? Well, that's pretty vague.

Honestly, this is the wrong place to ask. Not many people own Lahti L-39s or Anzio Ironworks 20mms. I know no one on this board does, and few will on ARFCOM (AR15.com), and those that do probably aren't going to be shooting $4-5 at your mystery material for free.

Thanks for your candid response. There's nothing strange about ballistics testing of a new material... happens rather frequently. What is a bit unusual is to suggest it will stand up to 20mm AP. I know it's a long shot (so to speak) trying to locate someone this way, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? Also, I hope I didn't give the impression I was looking for a donation, just a shooter. I have posted on ARFCOM and there may actually be a lead or two that comes out of that; many thanks for the suggestion.
