Decided to finally take pictures of the entire family. Sorry, still have a shitty 2MP digicam, so... pictures aren't that good.

It's just the stuff that came with it. Nothing done to it.

I really think the Yugo could do well from a good refinishing. It's got a few dings in the stock, simply cosmetic stuff.

I think it's just the fact that you, along with 99% of the population, loathes that yellowy wood.

I don't write songs about M16s. Nor do I own any. Believe me, I wish I had the $16,000 to buy an M16 variant.

I would... I mean, this is the real deal.. Not some airsoft pos.

Wait, so that's not an M16? Still looks scary as hell.. What's the difference between an AR15 and the gun that our troops are fighting with?

the only difference i know of the AR-15 between the M-16 is that the AR-15 is the civilian version of the assault and only has single fire mode unless you change the receiver otherwise i think its the same.

this is my first post :)

Wow, dude, no.

There's 3 different machine gun categories. Transferables: these are the ones lowly peasants/subjects like ourselves are allowed to buy in any way. What it consists of it paying highly ridiculous amounts of money for a registered (in BATFE database) MG made before May 1986. As a general rule, civilians can't technically own machine guns of any kind made after May 1986. An M16 from 1985 is fine, but an M16 from 1986 is too evil for lowly subjects to own. Buying one means paying the forementioned ridiculous amount of cash, and then filling out a Form 4 for the firearm and waiting 6 months to see if the BATFE approves it or not. Then, if they have, you must get a DA/Judge/police chief to sign off on your purchase. If they won't, the ONLY way to still get it is to form a corporation and take that route.

Next up is pre-dealer samples. These are MGs that were made before May 1986, but were decided to also be too evil/fun/whatever to mere civilians to own. If you are a Class III dealer, you can buy and sell these (only to other Class III dealers). You can not sell these to people without Class III licenses. No demo letters required.

Next, we have the holy "fuck you, pesants!" grail of machine guns: Post-86 dealer samples. NOT EVEN CLASS III DEALERS CAN SIMPLY BUY THESE! A Class III dealer must have a demo letter from a law enforcement, military, or other agency in order to even purchase the damn thing. Even if you make macheinguns, if you make them from the souls of young orphans and virigins, curse them, and make them as evil and baby killing as possible, you still need a demo letter to buy a post-86 dealer sample. And, if you can't get one, tough shit, you can't buy one

I don't have a clue why the hell you'de actaly neeed one though. Last time I checked life as a civilian isn't the same as life as a soldier in Iraq.

And I heard somewhere that WW2 guns are more powerful than modern day guns.. Wtf, do you gun people here know if that's true?

You don't "need" to be playing computer games, but they entertain you. Same thing with automatic weapons. They're not necessary, but they're very, very, fun to shoot. 99% of people who legally own automatic firearms never commit a crime, as there is a background check involved with getting a Class III license.

Most of the cartridges are more potent than modern cartridges.

For example, the standard issue rifle in the WWII era fired a .30-06 cartridge, which is almost infinitely more powerful than the modern 5.56NATO cartridge. It's just that now the Army has found quantity to be favourable to quality.

There has been only one crime committed with a registered fully automatic firearm. It was committed by a police officer.
