well, here are some various question i am wondering about the multiplayer mode and abosut other thing, i doubt you have the right to talk to it with me, just tell me what you can:

any special mode? sure team deathmatch and ctf but, anything special?


is the administrator will be able to limit the type of weapon that can be choosen per team? i mean, can you decide wich type of weapon may or may not be avaliable for each team?

did you have plan to inculde heavy machinegun like m-60 or the pkm?

i know we will be able to choose some anti-armor weapon like the LAWS or the rpg-7, but i wonder if we will move slower with or if we will be able to choose other gun with?

is our caracter will be able to yell sentences in multiplayer? i thinl its would be fun, in a firefight to be able to throw some insult to your ennemy in spanish, english or russian, while your are forced to hide for reload!

any classes for the multi?

is our speed will depend of the equipement we got??

for the grenade, is all grenade type will have a different range, weight?

did you plan to put many variation of the ak? i know the ak-74 and 47 will be there, but have you project to put akms, ak74 su etc.

is the single player mode will unlock special feature?

sorry for all these question, i know i am a pain in the ass, i am just not able often to ask these question to gamemaker (except for the mod maker), forgive me for all! :roll: :roll: :roll:

In addition to the standard multiplayer modes we plan on offering more objective related modes. Also teams won't necessarily be limited to 2.

Server admins can decide on the exact weapon loadouts to allow for multiplayer matches. So individual guns can be allowed/disallowed, as well as entire groups and classes of weapons. The WarStudio will actually allow for very powerful queries to determine exactly which weapons can be used in multiplayer matches.

Heavy machine guns will be included in the game. In fact, in this screenshot of the WarStudio, you can see the icon for the M60 itself at the top left of the results page:

Anti armor weapons will be featured in the game. The weight of your actual loadout (weapons, ammo, grenades, etc) will have an effect on your movement rate and stamina (though not as pronounced as some other games, where you can only run for seconds).

We plan on supporting voice chat in multiplayer.

There won't be any explicit classes per se. It will purely depend on what weapons and equipment you want to use as well as what the server allows. Servers will be able to limit certain types equipment to a maximum number if they wish (such as no more than 3 heavy machine guns for each team).

Much like the weapons, grenades will have their own unique characteristics determined from their real-world counterparts.

In addition to the AK-47 and AK-74, the AKS-74U is already in the game. :)

Completing the singleplayer campain will definitely unlock bonus features. You'll have to play through to find out which ones!

other question(sorry but, its help me for suggestion), i dont want to make an idiotic suggestion.

what type of involvement the vehicule will have? can we control them, are they controled by bot? i seen vehicule in tyhe video, just wondering, even controled by bots, its would be cool to have some in multi!!

Vehicles will not be controllable in Alliance. Our main focus is on capturing the intensity of infantry combat across time and we feel that controllable vehicles have a negative impact on that.

Though vehicles outside of your control will play a role in the single player campain, it is still to early to say whether they will play any role in multiplayer though it's something we are evaluating.

I noticed you confirmed voice chat. Will it be localized to our character (ie a distance around in the game) or will anyone on our side be able to hear ala CS?

That's really great to hear! As far as my knowledge goes, i haven't seen a good mp game with more than 2 teams.

Sorry for the dumb question but when you say more then 2 teams. Do you mean like, on the same map the germans could be fighting like the russians and the united states?

Yes, though if you keep in mind the flexibility of purely what-if scenarios, the sides don't have to be from the same time period, let alone actually be enemies.

Too many parameters to keep in mind. And being hunted by two teams while trying to fight against other two is going to be frustrating...

Keep in mind that we're going for flexibility, so servers or even levels can be setup to accomodate the desired number of sides (up to whatever max the level's been setup for) if the admin so chooses.
