Also will the gun still recock when theres a round in the chamber or will it just load and fire when there's a round in the chamber?

I'm not sure I understand specifically what you're asking with regards to a round being in the chamber.

Oh sorry I probably asked it wrong or something but I mean if you reload when theres a round in the chamber do you still cock the gun?

If you reload a partial magazine, you will not recock the weapon. So, if you thus reload with a full clip you'll have 1 extra round at your disposal.

Hehe, how many people are sweating the use of "clip" above? :D

Two more things:

- Is there a sugestions topic going on? I would be neat to have one. Meanwhile, i'm going to suggest here...

- It really would be nice if we could take an alive enemy as hostage for using as shield. A corpse can be a form of protection, but a live shield could intimidate enemies to shoot agains a partner. What about that?

Will the weapons do realistic damage i.e. one shot kills? I would hope handguns would have realistic damage, too many games have rifles one shot kill but a .45 take 3 or 4 shots to the chest to kill.

- Reloading a partial clip will store the clip (unused bullets still remaining) for future use. Thus if you keep reloading after partially using up all your full clips, you'll begin reloading partial clips. This will probably be disabled by default on the lowest difficulty setting (most hard core realistic options will be included, but we'll provide the ability for the less hard core players to tone down or turn off certain options as well as automatically decrease them at the lowest difficulty settings). The player/server admin will always have the choice of playing at the maximum realism settings though.

- I've stickified the suggestion topic, which had fallen off the front page.

- No comment.

- Weapons will do as realistic a damage as we can possibly model. IE actual damage impacted will ONLY depend on the actual round fired and it's velocity at impact, calculated dependent on where on the body it hits and if armor was involved. Thus two different shots fired from completely different weapons will give the same damage if they hit the same spot at the same velocity.

Will wounds on your arms affect your aiming? Will wounds on your legs affect walking speed\accuracy while moving?

is gasmask will be part of the accessories avaliable? even if its almost useless, i just like the look its give to a caracter, (battlefield 2 specialforces, the chechen kick ass with a mask!)

any chemical weapons in the game? tear gas? sarin? stuff like that?

any plans to put some skills to your caracter? well, i dont talk about WoW skill, i mean, some capabilities you will be able to do? some fighter know some tricks other dont know, IE: booby traps a gun. well, i dunno in single, but in multi,. it will rock!

Will you have arming distances for Anti tank weapons such as the RPG, M79, LAW and M203? Most games don't and it is possible to kill yourself at point blank range with them. When in reality the missile or round would have to travel 30 metres before it armed, if it hit a target under that it wouldn't detonate but obviously would inflict serious concussion damage especially to a person.

Wounds will affect your aim and speed, but we haven't decided to what extent yet. This will also be reduced/removed depending on the difficulty level. Server admins will have full control to the degree that this will happen.

Alliance will not have chemical weapons. As such, if there are character models with gas masks, it would be for purely asthetic reasons.

Good point on the arming distances.
